美国也有官官相护？公信力遭质疑。

谈到官官相护，人们总认为这是中国官场常态，何时被美国人学去了？

笔者根据一个典型案例，让人们看看美国官场如何讲情面。

美国旧金山一位法警局局长马格林尼，因爆出家暴丑闻下台。但在今年的10月9日，四位市议员金贞妍、艾华尔、坎波斯、欧拉葛，投票允许因家暴犯罪下台的法警局局马格林尼复职。

美国旧金山市长李孟贤，指责四位市议员这个决定是基于“友情”，是官官相护。检察长贾斯康则公开谴责，并要求复职后的马格林尼，不得接触任何与家暴有关的案件。

华裔领袖陈美玲对此深表失望。她说，民众普遍认为，任何有家暴犯罪记录的人，都不得在司法机构任职，何况法警局长？今后，常有家暴出现的华裔家庭受害人，谁还敢求助警方？

华裔领袖陈锡彭认为，此案开了很坏的案例。别的同样有家暴记录的人不能当警察，而马格林尼却能当法警局长？更重要的是，以后会有更多的有犯罪记录者任警察，政府公信力何在？
